We're proud to share a milestone that means a great deal to everyone behind the brand: PatPat has been named a winner of the 2026 Culture 100 Awards — an annual recognition of the most thriving companies to work for across the United States.
The honor was highlighted by Maya in a recent feature spotlighting the U.S. team behind the brand, titled "Why PatPat is Among the Most Loved Companies to Work For in America." We're sharing the story here, in our own words, with our thanks to Maya for the recognition.
About the recognition
To determine this year's winners, Maya reviewed more than 5,000 companies and surveyed over 20,000 employees. According to Maya's feature, PatPat stood out for building a high-performing team around the realities of working parenthood — without lowering the ambition behind the work.
As the Maya team put it in their spotlight:
"Working parents can be given real flexibility and still produce ambitious work at a high level." — Maya, "Why PatPat is Among the Most Loved Companies to Work For in America"
That single idea captures a lot of what the recognition is really about.
A team that lives what it builds
Since our founding in Mountain View, California, in 2014, PatPat has grown into a global brand serving more than 21 million customers across 100+ countries, with 61 licensed IP partners helping bring familiar characters and trusted styles to families everywhere.
But the story Maya chose to tell is a more personal one. Our U.S. marketing and creative team is made up entirely of women, many of them working mothers who are moving through the very same stages of family life as the parents we design for. They understand firsthand why comfort matters, how fast children grow, and why families want clothing that holds up to real, everyday life. That lived experience gives the work more clarity and conviction.
A culture of trust and flexibility
The recognition reflects a way of working we've been intentional about building: people are trusted to decide how they get their best work done, and are equally accountable for the results. A school pickup, a sick child, or a sudden change in plans doesn't have to derail the day. What matters is ownership and follow-through — and the flexibility works precisely because our team delivers.
That same spirit shows up in how ideas move here. Collaboration happens openly, without internal competition for credit, which makes it easier to challenge an idea, change direction, and keep improving the outcome. In a fast-moving retail and marketing environment, we'd rather test, learn, and adjust than wait until every risk has been removed.
Beyond the workplace
The recognition sits alongside other moments we're proud of this year. PatPat was named one of USA TODAY's Most Trusted Brands by Parents for 2026, reflecting the confidence families place in what we create. And through our work with Baby2Baby, we donated 2,000 baby essentials to support mothers and newborns in need — a reminder that the brand can play a real role in supporting families beyond the products themselves.
Looking ahead
To our U.S. team: this one is yours. Thank you for showing that trust and ambition aren't a trade-off. And to Maya, thank you for the spotlight.
As we keep helping families bring more personality and joy into everyday life, our direction stays clear — build products parents can trust, and build a workplace where the people behind them are trusted just as much.
