How We Create Our Guides

PatPat's guides and articles are written and reviewed by our in-house editorial teams, organized around the topics we know best — our Parenting Editors (pregnancy, baby, and parenting content) and our Style Editors (kids' and family fashion, fabrics, and seasonal dressing). Every article carries the byline of the team responsible for it.

What we publish — and what we don't

  • We publish a guide only when it adds something genuinely useful: first-hand product experience, hands-on testing, or original, carefully organized information. If a piece has nothing new to offer a reader, we don't publish it.
  • We favor depth and usefulness over volume. Length follows the content — we'd rather give you a short, accurate answer than pad it out.

Accuracy & sourcing

  • We fact-check claims against primary, authoritative sources and cite them where relevant.
  • We verify that every link works before publishing, and we don't invent facts, quotes, or statistics.
  • When information is unconfirmed, we say so.

Human editing & review

  • Every article is selected, written, and reviewed by a real member of our editorial team — not published unattended at scale.
  • We keep our published guides up to date and note when they were last reviewed.

Product links

  • Where a guide naturally relates to what we make, we may link to PatPat collections that are in stock. These are editorial recommendations tied to the topic, not paid placements from outside brands.
